Subject: Answers to
questions that were asked
| (1) Most of the time when someone says on
here someone from CREED is
fakeing
| it the get chewed out. So all of a
sudden people on here are bashing CREED
| (Scott Stap) things to me just
don't make sense.
(Re: 1) Can I ask WHEN anyone was bashing Scott Stapp?
People were sharing opinions... something that was permitted here the last time
I checked.
| (2) I can't rember were I read it but in an interview
Scott said that no
| matter how bad his voice souded he would never lip
synch.
(Re: 2) He wouldn't lip
synch because of a bad voice... he would postpone a tour for that (like last
year, and we all see it coming again this year). But he would lip synch if
the show he was performing at (like a half-time show that has very little time
for anything... warming up, setting up, tuning, testing the sound, and such)
told him that he would need to. because of the amount of time they
have.
| (3) Cause everyone here USE to be so suportive of CREED
and just the thought
| of any one on here thinking that just makes me
sick.
(Re: 3) So because someone
shares disappointment in something with the list, they're no longer supporting
the band? I take it that you've always been 100% in support of every
single thing that all bands that you listen to have ever done? Good to
know (yet again) that by sharing that someone wasn't happy with an event, that
they are no longer fans or supportive. I figured that someone expressing
their disappointment in something a band does would show that they are a fan,
since they care enough to actually BE disappointed.
And, as
Jess asked in the post that you included in your reply, why would the thought of
someone expressing displeasure in something that Creed has done make you
sick? I'm sorry if you or anyone else takes offense to this Amanda, but
anyone that lets things said about a band affect their personal health should
really go in and get a physical done, as it sounds like there is something truly
wrong.
| I'm sorry if this offended any one here but I'm just
saying whats on my
| mind. I was told all ways say what is on your
mind.
(Re: disclaimer) No offence
taken. Just asking for you to consider your thoughts a little before
posting them. As I said above, someone's worth as a fan isn't measured on
their satisfaction of everything the band does. I can still be a fan of
Days Of The New, but personally I think that Travis shouldn't be allowed to talk
between songs, because of his choice in language. Does this make me less
of a fan than I would be otherwise? No, because I still like their
music. Just because a band screw up live, or lip synchs because of time
allocation, and I don't like it, doesn't make me less of a fan. And to be
perfectly honest, I don't think you, or anyone else on this or any other list,
is in any position to tell me or anyone else whether we are a fan, or a
disappointment, or anything else for that matter. 99% of the bands out
there would be happy to hear criticism from their fans, because that shows the
band what people do, and do not, like. If Scott was in fact intoxicated
during the recent radio interview... I'm sure he's been told by several people
now that it was less than impressive... and I'm sure he made a note to make sure
such a thing doesn't happen again. A band has no way of knowing what
they're fans do and do not like unless those fans voice their opinions.
And if anyone (ANGIE!!!, or anyone else who measures the worth of a fan by
their comments and displeasures) has a problem with hearing those opinions, then
not only are they in denial, but they should probably also find something else
to occupy their minds, as (and I'm sure you've heard this before) no one is
perfect.
